Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) – the one-stop-shop for investing in Afghanistan – invites you to its second investment promotion road show in the U.S., “Investing in Afghanistan: The Heart of Asia.” AISA aims to increase awareness amongst U.S. business communities of the most recent business/economic, legal and institutional developments in
Afghanistan through informational seminars. Just as last year, the road show will kick off with the U.S.-Afghan Business Matchmaking Conference hosted by the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) and Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce (AICC).
AISA, together with its team of invited speakers from key organizations, will provide general
information on investing and doing business in Afghanistan as well as discuss specific investment opportunities in sectors specific to local interests. In addition, governmental and multilateral support for investing and doing business in Afghanistan will also be discussed. The seminar will feature speakers from Afghan and U.S. government agencies, multilateral
institutions, trade associations, and private sector companies.
Minister Farhang will participate in the AISA road show seminars as part of his first official visit to the U.S. as Minister of Commerce and Industries. He will speak about reforms to promote business and investment in Afghanistan.
