Dear Countrymen, Sisters and Brothers
Thank the Almighty God for enabling our nation
to emerge from another test with success and dignity. The recent
days’ debate in the parliament clearly indicates the Government
Institutions’ sense of responsibility.
The MPs’ constructive stand on the approval
of the proposed ministers, regardless of ethnic and factional
backgrounds, indicates that the people of Afghanistan and their
Representatives are making great strides in their attempt to
strengthen the Government.
It is a great honor for us to have successfully
emerged from another test to strengthen the Government. The
debate, wrangling over the differences of opinion and the positive
competition to find better ways of serving the people are the
fundamentals of a democratic and law-abiding society and the
Representatives of the people of Afghanistan acted bravely and
wisely in this direction.
The Representatives of the people of Afghanistan
preferred their national interests over all other tendencies.
As the President of Afghanistan, I would like
to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the noble
and Muslim people of Afghanistan and their elected representatives.
We took another significant step forward and I
hope the useful cooperation among Governmental institutions
will continue for the benefit of the people of Afghanistan.
