President Karzai Condemns Terrorist Attack
in Kandahar

Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is
saddened by and condemns in the strongest terms the bomb blast
in Kandahar this morning, killing at least 5 people and injuring
at least 30 people.
"This terrorist act is the work of the enemies
of Afghanistan, who want to destabilize Afghanistan by any means
possible, even at the price of innocent lives. Their efforts
will be fruitless and nobody will be able to stop Afghanistan
on its way towards democracy and stability", the President
said in his reaction to the news.
The President presents his condolences to the
families of the victims and wishes a quick recovery to the injured.
The President instructed the relevant authorities
to launch an investigation and to bring to justice the perpetrators
of this crime as soon as possible.
