President Karzai Expresses His Regret
at the Death of 70 People in Iran

Arg, Kabul - H.E. Hamid Karzai, President
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed his regret
at the death of 70 of people in Iran.
A series of earthquakes measuring 6 on the Richter
scale struck Iran’s western Lorestan province on Friday,
killing 70 people and injuring more than 1200.
In his reaction to the news the President said,
“The people and Government of Afghanistan share the suffering
of the brotherly Muslim people of Iran caused by the earthquake
disaster.”
The President expressed his heartfelt sympathies
and condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly
Muslim people and Government of Iran.
