President Karzai Is Deeply Saddened by
the News of a Train Crash in Japan

Presidential Palace, Kabul: H.E. Hamid Karzai,
President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is deeply
saddened by the news of a train crash in Osaka city of Japan,
which caused the death of over 70 and injured more than 400
people.
In his reaction to the news, the President said:
"I am deeply saddened to hear this news. On behalf of the
Afghan people, I present my heartfelt condolences to the families
of the victims and to the people of Japan."
