President Karzai Condemns Pakistan Mosque

Kabul - H.E. Hamid Karzai, the President of the
Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan, is deeply disturbed
by the news of the suicide bombing in Sialkot, Pakistan. The
blast took place in a Shiite Mosque during Friday prayers, killing
at least 19 people and wounding dozens.
In his reaction to the news the President said,
“Sectarian violence, killing innocent people, and attacking
mosques and holy places is undoubtedly the work of Islam’s
enemies. The President condemns this act in the strongest possible
terms.
On behalf of the people of Afghanistan the
President extends his deepest condolences to the families of
the victims and to the people of the brotherly Muslim nation
of Pakistan.
