Kabul - The Prime Minister of Turkey H.E
Recep Tayyib Erdogan is expected to arrive in Afghanistan for
an official visit today on Wednesday, 20th of April 2005.
H.E Recep Tayyib Erdogan will call on H.E Hamid
Karzai, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
and H.M Mohammad Zahir, Father of the Nation.
Prime Minister Erdogan is scheduled to visit the
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) headquarters
and hold talks with H.E Hikmet Cetin, NATO Senior Civilian Representative
in Afghanistan and Gen. Ethem Erdagi, ISAF Commander on Thursday.
H.E Vecdi Gonul, the Minister of Defense and H.E
Recep Akdag, the Minister of Health are accompanying the Prime
Minister.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warmly welcomes
the visit by H.E Recep Tayyib Erdogan, the Prime Minister of
Turkey to Afghanistan and perceives the visit is a clear illustration
of the brotherly relationship between the two countries.
