Ms. Soraya Ututalum
Executive Assistant
Ms. Ututalum has served as the executive assistant
to the Ambassador since 2005. She manages and coordinates the
daily activities of the Ambassador and acts as the primary contact
for Embassy Staff and the public on matters relating to the
Ambassador.
Prior to joining the Embassy, Ms. Ututalum worked
at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho. Her pervious work
experience includes an Assistant Editorship for Phoenix-SIBS
Publishing House, a Philippine-based company that publishes
quality textbooks for private secondary schools.
Ms. Ututalum holds a Bachelor’s degree
in journalism from Silliman University and is completing a Masters
Degree in International Relations, majoring in Southeast Asian
studies at the University of the Philippines. She also has a
strong background in development research, concentrating on
rural education and health in Muslim Mindanao.
