President Ghani Meets with Senator John McCain

President Ghani met with US Senator John McCain at the Presidential Palace in Kabul on Thursday.

President Ghani and Senator McCain discussed further enhancement of US-Afghan bilateral relations, regional issues, US long-term support to Afghanistan, and human rights.

Welcoming Senator McCain, President Ghani expressed his gratitude for the US support and sacrifice to Afghanistan.

President Ghani and Senator McCain stressed the need to bolster fighting terrorism and extremism in Afghanistan and in the region.

At the end, the US Senator John McCain reassured the United States' enduring support to Afghanistan.
