President Karzai Regrets the Death of 9 People in Nangarhar Province
Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed his deep regret at the death of 9 people in Behsoud district of Nangarhar province.
According to reports, floods killed 9 women and children and wounded many more in Behsoud district of Nangarhar province Friday. More than 100 houses were destroyed and several hectares of agricultural lands were damaged in the floods.
The President instructed the relevant authorities to send relief teams to the affected areas to assist the people.
The President expressed his deep sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims, and prayed for the full and speedy recovery of the injured.
