President Karzai Calls President Musharraf
Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, called H.E. Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan this morning.
During this telephone conversation, President Karzai congratulated President Musharraf on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and wished the people of Pakistan success and prosperity.
President Karzai and President Musharraf discussed laying the groundwork for a grand regional meeting of tribal elders of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
President Musharraf thanked President Karzai for his phone call and wished the people of Afghanistan success and prosperity.
