THE REBUILD AFGHANISTAN SUMMIT 2006
Connecting Bay Area volunteers and donors to rebuild Afghanistan on Saturday November 4, 2006, 12:30 PM.
The Rebuild Afghanistan Summit will be held at the Student Union Building, Room 311, California State University East Bay, Hayward.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. NAKE M. KAMRANY, Professor/Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics, University of Southern California and member of the bar of the state of California.
Special Guest: Ms. Awista Ayub, Education and Health Officer, Embassy of Afghanistan
Come hear presentations by over 20 Northern California organizations that are working on reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan such as building schools and health care clinics, training teachers and health workers, landmine removal, tree planting, micro-lending, job training and providing educational programs.
Free parking is across from the event at Parking Lot B on West Loop Road (cross street is Harder Road.)
