Mr. Mohammad Khalid Kohistani
Third Secretary of Consular Affairs
Mr. Mohammad Khalid Kohistani has served as Third Secretary at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, D.C. since July 2007. Prior to his service at the Embassy, Mr. Kohistani was an official in the Service and Cultural Relations Departments of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Kohistani has also worked with the Ministry’s Western European section as a desk officer for Scandinavia. Mr. Kohistani graduated from Kabul University with a degree in law and political science in 1998.
