Kabul to Host International Trade & Industry Exhibition July 18-22

The European Consulting & Exhibition Company (ECE Co.) in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, USAID, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Agfair Management presents Asia-Europe International Trade & Industry Exhibition from July 18-22, 2007 at the Badam Bagh Exhibition Area, an 8,000 square meter facility in the heart of Kabul, Afghanistan.

The first of its kind in Afghanistan, Asia-Europe International Trade & Industry Exhibition will facilitate knowledge and technology exchange in a variety of industrial sectors including banking, telecommunications and electronics, construction, engineering and machinery, power generation and supply, air and land transportation, food, medical products and equipment, cosmetics, automobile, motorcycle and spare parts, furniture, carpets and household items, agriculture machinery, handicraft, culture, tourism, and media.

Asia-Europe International Trade & Industry Exhibition will be inaugurated by key Afghan Cabinet Ministers led by Minister of Commerce and Industry Mir Muhammad Amin Farhang.  In addition, foreign government officials, trade association and private sector representatives, as well as SAARC and ECO representatives have been invited to participate.  The exhibition will feature key events including the inaugural conference “Practical Ways of Developing Trade and Foreign Investment in Afghanistan,” a banking and finance conference, and a traditional Afghan national celebration – a pageantry of Afghan art and culture.

ECE Co. is an Afghan-German company promoting international trade and investment in Afghanistan.  Their debut event was an international trade and investment exhibition and conference in 2004.
