Reconstruction Opportunity Zones (ROZs): An Industry Briefing

The ROZs: An Industry Briefing is the first event for 2007. We are delighted that H.E. Ambassador Said T. Jawad will provide the welcoming remarks.

Attend this event to find about ROZs, a new program for Afghanistan and border areas of Pakistan recently proposed by the Administration to Congress. A senior-level State Department official and a representative from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative will lead an informative presentation followed by a question and answer session. AACC’s leadership will discuss the potential benefit to the private sector from such a program.

Companies that invest in these zones would gain incentives such as duty-free access into the U.S. market. Come find out about this exciting program and learn how your company might benefit from it. Attendees will also be able to meet staff and members of AACC as well as Embassy officials.
