President Karzai Is Saddened by the Death
of 10 U.S. Soldiers

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, was saddened by the
unfortunate death of 10 US soldiers in a helicopter crash in
the province of Kunar on Friday.
According to reports, a US helicopter crashed
in Kunar province near a mountaintop landing zone on Friday
night, killing all 10 soldiers and crew on board.
In his reaction to the news to the President “The
people of Afghanistan will never forget the sacrifices made
by the US soldiers for the sake of peace and prosperity of the
people of Afghanistan.”
The President, on behalf of the people of Afghanistan,
expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to the families
of the victims and to the people and Government of the United
States of America.
