President Karzai Receives a Phone Call
from President Bush

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, received a phone call
this afternoon from H.E. George W Bush, President of the United
States of America.
President Bush congratulated President Karzai
on the approval of his cabinet by the Parliament.
The two Presidents discussed issues of bilateral
interest and exchanged views on a wide range of issues including
the fight against terrorism.
President Bush assured President Karzai of the
United States’ continued support in the common fight against
terrorism and in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
President Karzai thanked the people and
Government of the United States of America for their unwavering
support to the fight against terrorism and to the reconstruction
of Afghanistan.
