President Karzai Expresses His Regret
at the Death of 57 People in Bahrain

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed his regret
at the death of at least 57 people in Bahrain.
A boat capsized off the coast of Bahrain near
one of the bridges linking the capital with al-Muharraq Island
on Thursday, killing at least 57 people.
The President, on behalf of the people of Afghanistan,
expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families
of the victims and to the people and Government of Bahrain.
