President Karzai Calls the Terrorist Attack on the Funeral Ceremony of Hakim Taniwal as Animosity Against Islam and the People of Afghanistan

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, called the terrorist attack on the funeral ceremony of Hakim Taniwal as animosity against Islam and the people of Afghanistan.
According to preliminary reports, a terrorist attack occurred during the funeral ceremony of Hakim Taniwal in the Tanai district of the province of Khost this afternoon, killing 6 people and injuring more than 10 people.
The President called this heinous act of terrorism as an act against Islam and humanity and said “The enemies of Afghanistan, by carrying out a terrorist attack on the funeral ceremony of Hakim Taniwal, showed that they are not only against the traditions and cultures of Afghans, but also against Islamic law.
The President expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the full and speedy recovery of the injured.
