President Karzai Receives a Telephone
Call from Kofi Annan

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, received a telephone
call this evening from H.E. Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of
the United Nations.
During this telephone conversation, Kofi Annan
asked the President about the current situation in Afghanistan,
especially the situation of Kabul city.
The President called the situation of Afghanistan
as satisfactory and assured Kofi Annan about the situation of
Kabul city.
In another telephone conversation today,
the President called the Emir of Qatar about his visit to Qatar
in the near future.
