with them the rebuilding achievements and challenges of Afghanistan
and its international partners, Ambassador Jawad will be speaking
on various topics relating to the reconstruction process in
major cities of California. The Ambassador will visit the Bay
Area where most Afghan immigrants concentrate and attend an
event there to discuss the role of the Afghan Diaspora in rebuilding
Afghanistan. While appreciating the assistance of the US government,
Ambassador Jawad will encourage the US private sector to invest
in Afghanistan both to help rebuild the country and to benefit
from the country’s many profitable emerging markets.
