President Karzai Calls the Mass Killing by Taliban Unforgivable Major Crime

KABUL-President Hamid Karzai has condemned in the strongest terms the mass killing of a number of innocent people by the Taliban in Helmand province.

Initial reports indicate that in Shah Karez village of Kajaki district, Taliban beheaded seventeen innocent persons including two women.

Strongly condemning the mass slaughter, President Karzai called it unforgivable crime in complete negation of all Islamic instructions and said, “Resorting to such acts clearly demonstrate that the enemy is desperate and in disarray.”

President Karzai has ordered an all-out investigation into the incident.
