President Karzai Strongly Condemns the Killing of Eight Workers in the Province of Kunar
Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, strongly condemned the killing of eight workers in the province of Kunar.
According to reports, armed gunmen ambushed a car carrying Afghan civilians while driving home from work in Manugay district of Kunar province and killed eight of them Friday.
The President expressed his deep regret at the death of innocent civilians and said “This barbaric act of terrorism is against Islam and humanity and I condemn it in the strongest terms. The enemies of Afghanistan perpetrate these heinous acts against poor workers who work to support their families during the holy month of Ramadan.
The President expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims.
